FAQ & Process

Commissioning a portrait should be exciting, not stressful. Here is exactly how the process works.

How it works

🖼️
01

Choose your portrait type

Browse the shop and select the type of commission — pet, family, or wedding portrait. Choose your preferred size and painting style, then click "Commission This Portrait".

📋
02

Complete the order form

Fill in your contact details, shipping address, any special requests, and your SEPA payment information. Your payment is only collected after you approve the final piece.

📸
03

Send your reference photo

After placing your order, I will email you a secure upload link. Please send a clear, well-lit photo — front-facing works best. The better the photo, the better the portrait.

🎨
04

I paint your portrait

I get to work! Depending on the size and complexity, this takes 2–5 weeks. I will keep you updated and send a preview when the painting is complete.

05

Review & approve

You will receive a high-resolution photograph of your portrait. You may request up to 2 rounds of revisions at no extra charge. Once you are happy, I collect your payment.

📦
06

Shipped to your door

Your portrait is carefully packaged with protective materials and shipped worldwide via tracked post. Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days within Europe, 7–14 days internationally.
